After your exam, save your question paper and recorded answers when NTA releases them. They are available for a limited period; see section 11.2 of the bulletin.
How to match a question with its answer
Choose the key for the same exam date and shift, then match the question ID printed in the paper or response sheet. A question's position in a practice booklet may be different.
Also compare the option text. If a booklet has changed the option order, its answer letter will not necessarily match the option number in the NTA key.
Use the final key to check answers. The provisional key may change after challenges.
What if two options are accepted?
An official key can accept more than one answer. For example, question ID 4255899360 in the June 2025 Economics key accepts options 3 and 4. The key also marks some questions as dropped.
For scoring such questions, follow the bulletin and notices for that exam cycle.
If the answers still differ, keep the question ID, wording and both answers together when you ask a teacher about it.
Using the papers for practice
Some PDFs show answers beside the questions. Cover these while attempting the paper. Keep an unfamiliar paper for a timed attempt, and record repeated attempts separately.
Our PYQ analysis covers subjects and question types. For help going through an attempt, use the mock-review guide.
