Finding the Economics questions

The 2022 and 2023 question PDFs contain several XH subjects. Find General Aptitude, XH-B1 Reasoning and Comprehension, and XH-C1 Economics. Do not attempt the optional English, Philosophy, Psychology or other subject sections as part of an Economics mock.

The 2022 file includes answer keys in the same PDF. In 2023, the separate key covers the XH sections, so match the section heading as well as the question number.

The 2021 Economics paper has 10 GA questions, 15 reasoning questions and 40 Economics questions. From 2022 to 2026, the split is 10, 16 and 39. Every complete annual paper here has 65 questions and 100 marks.

Why do old papers say XH-C1?

The section codes changed in 2027. Economics is now XH1, and Reasoning and Comprehension is XH0.

The 2027 syllabus and pattern guide gives the current labels and downloads.

Calculating your marks

Match the paper's question number and section to the key. For an MCQ, deduct 1/3 of the question's marks for a wrong answer. For an MSQ, the complete correct option set is required; there are no partial marks. NAT answers must lie in the accepted range. MSQs and NATs have no negative marking.

If the final key says MTA (marks to all), award the marks as instructed. Record your section totals separately: GA out of 15, reasoning out of 25, Economics out of 60.

Past-year papers for full mocks

Solve PYQs as you study each topic. Keep two or three past-year papers you have not solved yet for full mocks later, with a three-hour time limit.
